Eighth Grade ELA - Assignments from Quarter One, 2013 - 2014 School Year


Due Thursday, October 31, 2013 - Complete the extension of the "theme" activity that we started during today's class. After identifying four themes that appear in quotes one through three from the first assignment, transfer these themes to the additional worksheet. To complete the worksheet, find a fourth quote (from chapters 41 (p. 263) - chapter 45 (ends on p. 300)) that shows evidence of the four themes that you identified. Your responses to the reading questions can be turned in in one of three ways:
1) You can downloaded the documents above, or download them from your Longmeadow Gmail account, edit them in Microsoft Word, and then email them to Mrs. Bandeian at dbandeian@longmeadow.k12.ma.us;
2) You can upload your answers to the questions as a Google Document under your Longmeadow Gmail account and share it with Mrs. Bandeian at dbandeian@longmeadow.k12.ma.us; OR
3) You can submit a printed (hardcopy) version of the document above (with your answers either handwritten or typed) to Mrs. Bandeian in class.**

The only requirement is that your work be submitted on or before the due date.
